At least, I'm trying to while writing this blog.
As you may remember, Monday 17th of August was supposed to be the release date of GS011, our second show covering the Norberg Festival. However, due to goings on that were completely out of our hands, the show was delayed. As I'm sure you can imagine, it takes a massive amount of work to get a podcast from scratch to the piece you download in just one week. But when you have to put aside all the work you've been doing due to something that you can't control, it can be more than a little irritating. And it's at this point that I'm trying to remember what my Mother told me; "If you've not got anything nice to say..." This aside, the good news is that we have finally been able to release GS011. This completes our Norberg festival coverage, and it does it in style. In the show you can hear an interview and extended live session from There Are No More Four Seasons' amazing set at the festival. Not only that, but there is also some kicking tracks from as far afield as Argentina, San Francisco and... ahem... Bristol. Considering how busy things currently are in the GS office, GS011 could very easily have become "The Lost Show" - one of those episodes that is forgotten and lost, only to surface years later, selling for millions on eBay amid a flurry of media attention. But I guess that'll have to wait, because GS011 // Norberg Pt.2 is now available. You'll find it where it would have been chronologically in the "Archives" section. I hope you think it was worth the wait. |
