OK so this isn't strictly music based but I think its good to go check these things out and see whats happening out there. Here is a rather interesting event which revolves around City life and not all those bastards working in Canary Wharf either. Its taking place this weekend in Londons East End.

This is Not a Gateway. Here's their mission statement...

'The festival brings together people, living and working in Europe, who's main preoccupation is the city'. We'll we live in one of the biggest cities in the world so I think we can relate to this.
 
There will be workshops, exhibitions, screenings, city tours etc.

Bit of a shameless plug there with that as I did some of the music but it is a excellent short and the festival promises to have that and much, much more. Go check it.
