 A recent excusrsion to Berlin almost left me with frostbite, what with it never once going above -2 degrees and an average of -6. It didn't stop me and my comrades from using our feet to dance and not much else during the week there, though.


Berlin is famous for its incredible clubs. From Weekend to KitKatClub (a hardcore fetish club that we very nearly visited) there's no shortage of places to get your groove on. However, there is one brand new club that should be top of your Must Visit list - Kleine Reise.

Klein Reise is owned by Irish DJ Dancepig, and is based in the Kreuzberg area of Mitte. Hiding in a basement with a very cranky old man living above, the club is in an old turkish bath house, its bare floors, ancient tiled walls and creaky leather chairs all add to the fantastic atmosphere. We visited on two consecutive nights, and on the first night we danced to a mixture of classic disco and dirty electro while the music on the second night was all about the bass.

With cheap beers, great intimate atmosphere and some of the best DJs from Berlin and abroad, Kleine Reise is not to be missed.
