We hopefully find you fighting fit and as refreshed after our mini summer holiday as we are, ready for another Global Soundtracks instalment.
Over the past few weeks we have received an assortment of emails regarding the Global Soundtracks shows so far. Special mention goes to Tim Tausenfreund, Diana and Andrew Dove, whose show critiques, suggestions and encouragements reach us from Holland, Brazil and America respectively. We really appreciate this kind of feedback and encourage you to send your own words of wisdom to: info@globalsoundtracks.com
Upcoming shows are set to be busy with coverage from festivals and gigs across Europe, South and North America. There will also be musical reports from friends in places not normally known for their party scenes; Iran, Israel and a certain low cost airline's home - Luton. But for now we hope you are transported with this weeks selection of tracks and from our man Tom, a rather colourful collection of introductions and thoughts as well as a dedication to a sadly missed soccer dog.

Hailing from Ireland and formerly known as Vince, The Vinny Club's first release, "The Tech Noir Grand Re-Opening EP," was available exclusively on cassette by mail order at the princely sum of one Cadbury's Moro bar. Worth it, we'd say. |

Grass Widow (US) - 'To Where?' (Make A Mess)
San Francisco's Grass Widow all claim to have perfect pitch, but they have yet to reveal their middle names as they are not sure how to pronounce them. This is probably down to the fact that they have trouble with the letters "j" and "g" and often get them mixed up. |

Frikstailers (AR) - 'Sudaka Invasor' (Revolt Into Style)
Frikstailers like to wear wigs and silly glasses, and even though they are based in Argentina, they are not from Buenos Aires. Somehow, they're on a label based in glamorous Glasgow too. |

While growing up in Mainz, Germany, Lunch For You loved Batman so much that he got a Batman suit and dressed that way almost every day. Unlike the real Batman, he cannot eat peaches because their texture, which he says "gives him gooseflesh." We think he means Goosbumps. |

Ödland (FR) - 'The Caterpillar' (Aerotone)
Lyon's Ödland plan on making a great movie someday. They haven't decided what it would be about, but they are sure that they would make all the music. Although plans for the movie are on hold at the moment while they decide whether to spend the money made from their EP on making a new album or buying a big van to tour in. |

Sleepwaker (DE) - 'Sumpwat' (Hawdboiled Wondaland)
Sleepwaker started out making music on Fruityloops as a young 'un in Berlin, but he found it pretty useless. He moved on to Logic, but found that "it's quite un-logic." By the sounds of things, he's now found a decent software to work with. He also misses his first dog, Hatja. Awww. |

Terminal 11 has just set up a label to promote experiemental and electronic music in Arizona - we'll be keeping a close eye on that! They have a track called "Adam Has No Idea." It was named by a guy called Adam who had no idea what the track should be called when asked. |
